Please note that if you can't make your teams assigned time, please come at your leisure before 7:45PM. We will be compositing the teams together after the session. We will be photographing the athletes individually.

Your grade's head coach will be in contact with any changes to the week's schedule due to this cancellation if necessary.

Welcome parents and players!
Are you ready for some football?! We are excited to start the season and during the fall of the 2021 Tackle Season, we will have 9 season games.
1/2 of the games will be played on the turf on Sundays at Knoch Park. The other 1/2 will be away games (locations - https://www.bgyfl.org/members ).
The first games will be the weekend of August 28th. The playoffs will be on the weekends of October 30 and Nov. 6th and the championship will be on November 14th.
Bill George has 2 levels (gold and silver). At evaluations, the coaches will determine if the teams/players should be placed at a gold or silver level.
August 2 will be our evaluations on the Knoch Park turf just north of the baseball fields (724 S West St, Naperville, IL 60540). Players should wear shirts, shorts, and cleats.
3rd-4th grade will be at 6:00-7:00 p.m.
5th, 6th, and 7th grade will be from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (5th and 6th may have a different date - stay tuned)
8th graders will be from 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Players will be given a number to pin on their shirt but this is not a try-out. We will do some fun drills and players will have a chance to meet our coaching staff. Practices will begin the week of August 2 - practices days and times are determined by the head coach of the team and you will find this information out via email from your head coach. As soon as rosters are completed, we will have a set practice schedule for you. Bill George will get us the game schedule usually the week before the first games which are the weekend of August 28th.
If you are new to the program, we do need a copy of your player's birth certificate. If you can bring this to evaluations or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org that would be great! (If you have been with the Naperville Saints before, you do not need to resubmit a copy of your player's birth certificate).

Additional equipment needed for the first day of practice - white helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, practice jersey, padded pants, cup, socks, and cleats (any).

Note: Bill George has a birthday cutoff per grade of August 1. If your player's birthday is before August 1 and they are considered "older" for their grade, they will need to play up at the next grade level. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
