Introducing the new NAPERVILLE SAINTS YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM!
Are you ready for some football?! We are excited to get our fall 2021 season started!
Our evaluations will be this Monday, August 2 at Knoch Park (724 S West St, Naperville, IL 60540) - on the turf by the Naperville Central baseball fields.
Please have your player wear shorts, shirts, and cleats. Also, have players bring plenty of water.
We will be following the evaluation schedule below:
3rd and 4th graders 6:00-7:00 p.m.
5th, 6th, and 7th graders 7:00-8:00 p.m.
8th graders 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Your player will need to check-in at the front table, receive a number for evaluations and we will weigh players at this time. If you want to check the weight chart, please look here. https://www.bgyfl.org/forms
Once we have teams set, we will be able to get you your player's practice schedule. We will receive the game schedule from Bill George the week of August 23rd.
If you ordered a uniform, the first orders back in June should be arriving this week. The 2nd orders that just closed last week will be arriving in 3-4 weeks but will be here before the first games on 8/28.
We are excited to meet you and your players!
See you Monday at your scheduled time.
The Naperville Board of Directors
Welcome parents and players!
Are you ready for some football?! We are excited to start the season and during the fall of the 2021 Tackle Season, we will have 9 season games.
1/2 of the games will be played on the turf on Sundays at Knoch Park. The other 1/2 will be away games (locations - https://www.bgyfl.org/members ).
The first games will be the weekend of August 28th. The playoffs will be on the weekends of October 30 and Nov. 6th and the championship will be on November 14th.
Bill George has 2 levels (gold and silver). At evaluations, the coaches will determine if the teams/players should be placed at a gold or silver level.
August 2 will be our evaluations on the Knoch Park turf just north of the baseball fields (724 S West St, Naperville, IL 60540). Players should wear shirts, shorts, and cleats.
3rd-4th grade will be at 6:00-7:00 p.m.
5th, 6th, and 7th grade will be from 7:00-8:00 p.m. (5th and 6th may have a different date - stay tuned)
8th graders will be from 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Players will be given a number to pin on their shirt but this is not a try-out. We will do some fun drills and players will have a chance to meet our coaching staff. Practices will begin the week of August 2 - practices days and times are determined by the head coach of the team and you will find this information out via email from your head coach. As soon as rosters are completed, we will have a set practice schedule for you. Bill George will get us the game schedule usually the week before the first games which are the weekend of August 28th.
If you are new to the program, we do need a copy of your player's birth certificate. If you can bring this to evaluations or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org that would be great! (If you have been with the Naperville Saints before, you do not need to resubmit a copy of your player's birth certificate).
If you would like to assist our coaching staff or volunteer, please let us know.
I am hoping everyone got their uniforms ordered but if you didn't, please send Heidi an email to email@example.com
Additional equipment needed for the first day of practice - white helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, practice jersey, padded pants, cup, socks, and cleats (any).
Please direct questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Bill George has a birthday cutoff per grade of August 1. If your player's birthday is before August 1 and they are considered "older" for their grade, they will need to play up at the next grade level. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
We are looking forward to seeing you all on August 2!

Dear Saints Family:
Are you ready for some football? The BGYFL has announced we will move forward with tackle football this FALL 2021.
As long as the IHSA allows for a season in the midst of a pandemic, we are planning on a start date for practices on August 3rd with the first games beginning the weekend of August 21st.
As always, our first priority as the Naperville Saints has been the safety and well-being of each athlete. We take that responsibility with the utmost seriousness and we thank you for your continued support.
